<p>Hypnosis is a state of relaxed and focused awareness in which the subject is receptive to suggestion. Hypnotic suggestion can sometimes help cancer patients better cope with the pain associated with the disease and its treatment and to face an uncertain future more stoically.</p>
<p>The National Institutes of Health performed studies of the benefits of hypnosis in cancer treatment and found that when it is used to complement traditional medical treatment it can be helpful in lessening pain, calming fear and anxiety, and controlling bleeding during surgery. There is no evidence to suggest that hypnosis can prevent cancer or alter the progress of the disease. It does not appear to improve survival rates of cancer patients. </p>
<p>Not everyone can be hypnotized, and among those who can, some can reach deeper levels of hypnotic trance than others. Therefore, hypnosis is not equally efficacious for all cancer patients. For those who are willing and able to be hypnotized, it can be a tool to improve quality of life in the face of a devastating diagnosis.</p>
<p>Hypnosis creates a state of deep relaxation. The conscious mind becomes calm and undistracted, while the unconscious mind becomes focused and open to suggestion. The therapist may suggest that the patient feels peaceful, without fear, tension, or anxiety, and that pleasant sensations flood the body, overwhelming all pain.<br />
The hypnotherapist is not able to control the subject, nor can a person under hypnosis be made to do anything against his will. Rather, hypnosis helps subjects have more control over feelings, behaviors, and attitudes toward their disease.</p>
<p>Hypnosis can be used instead of traditional anesthesia during some surgeries and medical and dental procedures. In addition to reducing the amount of pain and anxiety the patient experiences, it can reduce the amount of bleeding. It appears to reduce recovery time after surgical procedures and may even stimulate the body’s immune system.</p>
<p>While hypnosis can often improve the quality of life for cancer patients and may even hasten recovery from necessary surgeries, it is not a treatment or cure for the cancer itself, and should not be used as a stand-alone treatment, but to complement standard medical treatment, not substitute for it.</p>

<p>The high numbers of searches for dieting advice and free online diet plans indicate just how many people are looking to lose weight. Some popular diet plans are:</p>
<p>The Atkins diet, which is a well-known low carbohydrate diet, is based on the limited intake of &#8220;refined carb&#8221; foods such as sugar and white bread. By limiting carbohydrate intake, this diet plan is supposed to make the body go from burning carbohydrates for energy to burning fat (a process called ketosis).</p>
<p>The Ornish diet is an extremely low fat, vegetarian diet, is an entirely vegetarian diet, and when followed correctly, a mere 10% of total calorie intake will be from fat. The Ornish diet also strongly encourages exercise and stress-management, and has been used successfully to help reverse heart disease in many people. </p>
<p>The Suddenly Slim diet program involves taking diet pills and meal replacement shakes in hopes of stimulating the body&#8217;s metabolism to use up more calories. The products include many ingredients typically found in diet pills. The Suddenly Slim program is supposed to function without increasing exercise or making other significant lifestyle changes, although exercise and healthier eating will improve results. </p>
<p>The Zone diet balances fat, carbohydrate, and protein intake, with 30% of calories coming from fat, 40% from carbohydrates, and 30% from protein. Like the Atkins diet, this diet is often categorized as &#8220;low carb.&#8221; The Zone diet monitors calorie intake and physical fitness levels to deliver results. </p>
<p>The Cabbage soup diet is a component in numerous diet plans and is largely considered to be a fad diet. It consists of eating only low calorie cabbage soup for one week. Following this program may lead to a few pounds of weight loss, but when you resume normal eating habits, the weight will come back. Additionally, continuing this unbalanced diet for more than one week may lead to inadequate nutrition and poor health. </p>
<p>There are countless diet programs all promising fast results, but what many of these popular diet plans claim is not what they really offer. They are based on meal plans that are unbalanced, unsustainable over a long-term period, or downright unhealthy. When you harness this concept, and use a particular set of language patterns, you can dramatically increase your persuasive ability and generate much more compliance among your listeners than you may think possible. You&#8217;ll be surprised how easily you&#8217;ll be able to incorporate these words into your everyday speech, increasing your influence and charisma.</p>
<p>These specific expressions are occasionally called &#8220;Time Words,&#8221; or more particularly &#8220;Subordinate Clauses of Time.&#8221; These contain words like: Before, during, after, as, since, prior, when, while, and others. They are &#8220;subordinate&#8221; as they link two events, one happening before, during, or after the other, and the one event is dependent, or &#8220;subordinate&#8221; to the other.They are available belonging to the Milton Model language designs of clandestine and conversational hypnosis.</p>
<p>To provide an example, if I say, &#8220;When I go to dinner tonight, I&#8217;m going to consume chicken,&#8221; the &#8220;eating chicken&#8221; part of the sentence is dependent on the &#8220;when I head to dinner part.&#8221; What&#8217;s presupposed here is that I&#8217;m going to dinner. That part likely won&#8217;t be questioned by the listener.</p>
<p>In order to steer somebody of your truth or a concept, or to start them contemplating taking a certain action, simply create a sentence like the one above, and place the concept or suggested action inside the &#8220;head to dinner&#8221; part of the sentence.</p>
<p>To provide an example, in case you are in sales, you could say something like, &#8220;When you buy this product you might encounter huge benefits.&#8221; This seems much stronger than if you started the sentence with &#8220;If you purchase this product,&#8221; as that leaves it open to whether they are going to buy the product. When you begin the sentence off with, &#8220;When you buy this product,&#8221; it is foregone conclusion.</p>
<p>You can even say things like, &#8220;Once you buy this product,&#8221; or, &#8220;When you take this product home,&#8221; or, &#8220;Later today, when you have this product,&#8221; as they all take for granted that the product will probably be bought.</p>
<p>You can even use some &#8220;before&#8221; words as well. For instance, it is possible to say something like, &#8220;Before you purchase this product, be sure you can fit it inside your car.&#8221; Just be sure that in the place of &#8220;ensure you have room inside your car,&#8221; you put something else that has a high probability of being true.</p>
<p>Whenever you make use of these forms of words, it gets the listener considering things that will come about before or after they believe your idea, or take your suggested course of action. When they do this, they&#8217;ve already subconsciously accepted the thought of doing it.</p>

Think out it; if you saw 50 pounds lying on the street I&#8217;m pretty sure you&#8217;d be motivated to pick it up pretty quickly. If you had to wait until next week, it would surely be gone! How about all those things you enjoy doing; like spending time with friends, watching movies, shopping? You&#8217;re therefore motivated to do some things and not others.  </p>
<p>The things you&#8217;re motivated to do are fun, enjoyable and easy. The areas you lack motivation are when things are dull, boring and hard work.  When you have more positive empowering emotions you&#8217;re more likely to take action and do something, as opposed to when you have disempowering emotions.  We all want more fun, excitement and enjoyment and less boredom, frustration and stress.</p>
<p>Psychology and Mechanics<br />
Everything you do is 80% Psychology and 20% Mechanics.  What this means is that thinking of doing something is the 80% and actually doing it is the other 20%.  Think about it; if you&#8217;re not motivated to exercise, you&#8217;ll think about how hard it is to get yourself to gym and all the negative things that make it such an effort.  What you may not realise is, once you get yourself to start exercising it makes you feel so good, and it really is easy and fun.  </p>
<p>The actual act of exercising is the mechanics (20%) and getting your mind right to get you to the gym is the Psychology (80%).  When you see something as tough, boring and hard work (all the disempowering emotions) it&#8217;s pretty tough to get yourself motivated to start that task.  Whereas when you see something as fun, enjoyable and exciting you&#8217;re pulled towards it and it&#8217;s easy to motivate yourself to do.  Here is a great technique to give yourself more motivation in the areas you&#8217;re struggling with.</p>
<p>Visualize and Anchor<br />
Close your eyes and visualise a situation in the past where you were having amazing fun and enjoying yourself.  See yourself in that situation like you&#8217;re in a big blockbuster movie.  See what your saw, hear what you heard and notice how good you felt.  Step inside yourself in that movie and see everything through your own eyes, as you&#8217;re having all this fun.  Double the size of the picture and notice where the feeling start in your body and where they spin to.  Spin these feelings faster and faster and bathe yourself in these great feelings as you notice all the sounds around you.  Double the pace of the spinning and notice how good you feel.  </p>
<p>When you feel great squeeze your thumb and middle finger for 2-3 seconds and then release, this will create and anchor. Keep spinning these feelings and whenever they&#8217;re at the height of their intensity, squeeze your thumb and middle finger to reinforce this anchor.  Do it 3-5 times until you can fire this anchor off and feel all these amazing feelings spreading throughout your body.</p>
<p>Transfer the feeling<br />
Now close your eyes again and take a deep breath in as you relax your body.  Visualize in your mind a situation where you&#8217;re struggling to be motivated.  Imagine it like you&#8217;re in a blockbuster movie and see yourself successfully performing this task.  Notice the way you move, the way you breathe and the smile on your face as everything plays out the way you want it to play out.  Now step inside yourself in that movie and see everything through your own eyes.  See what you&#8217;ll see through your own eyes as everything plays out the way you want it to play out in that situation.  Now double the size of the picture and fire off your anchor (thumb and middle finger).  </p>
<p>Notice all those amazing feelings rushing back and filling your body.  Notice the way they spin in your body and spin them even faster as you notice everything you see.  Allow yourself to hear any sounds around you while you spin these great feelings even faster.  Feel yourself starting to smile while you enjoy performing this task, and fire off your anchor again. Now quadruple the spinning feelings in your body as you&#8217;re enjoying performing all these tasks successfully. Do this for about 10 minutes until you feel great.</p>
<p>Now open your eyes and think of this situation where you used to lack motivation.  How has it changed?  Do you feel a totally different feeling inside?  I bet it doesn&#8217;t seem that tough now?  With these empowering emotions inside, it will allow you to get started on this task.  I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ll find that once you&#8217;ve started, you&#8217;ll see it&#8217;s really not that tough at all.  </p>
<p>The best way to condition a new emotion is to practice it over and over until it becomes an automatic behaviour.  So practising visualizing and anchoring everyday for the next three weeks to create this new empowering habit, and see a huge leap in your motivation.</p>

This one word has been shown time and time again to dramatically increase the rate of compliance. Simply by injecting this one word into your daily conversations, you will easily and naturally boost your influence to stratospheric levels of persuasion.</p>
<p>The word? Because. Conceivably since it triggers the traditional cause and effect circuitry in our minds put there through millions of years of slow change, this word can amazingly sway your mark. It&#8217;s as if our thinking were planned to go on auto pilot once we hear this word, and accept anything that comes after it, as long as  it is not outlandishly unacceptable.</p>
<p>Consider this social experiment. A university sent a &#8220;student&#8221; to discover a copying machine that had a long line of people waiting to make copies. First she simply asked if she could cut towards the front within the line. The outcome? As you&#8217;d expect, she got a &#8220;yes&#8221; only about ten percent of the time.</p>
<p>But then she changed the way in which she asked to cut in line. She said something along the lines of, &#8220;Can I cut in line, because my car is parked outside within the red zone.&#8221; The outcome? About seventy percent of the time, she was allowed to the front of the line. But hold on, you may say, this can be a legitimate excuse. Working with a car parked within the red zone that may be towed is the genuine reason she was allowed to the front of the queue, not as a result of some simple word, right?</p>
<p>Well, they repeated the experiment, and this time she said something like,&#8221;Can I cut in line, because I&#8217;ve some copies to make.&#8221; You&#8217;ve some copies to make? No kidding! Well, guess what? She was allowed to front of the queue about sixty percent of the time, when compared with ten percent when she only asked to make copies.</p>
<p>The moral for this story? Whenever you want to influence somebody of a concept, or convince somebody to look at some type of action, thing of any reason, the greater related the higher, to simply accept the idea or take the action.And the greater &#8220;reasons&#8221; you are able to come up with, the simpler will probably be to influence your listener.</p>
<p>Now because you&#8217;ve read this far, you&#8217;re obviously already considering ways you should use this method today, with whoever you speak with. And because it is possible to imagine some solutions to use this, you will naturally get the effects you want, and can bring an innovative form of persuasive power involved on your everyday conversations.</p>

<p>There&#8217;s a lot that goes on in your psyche when you think about doing something like that, the majority of which goes on well beneath conscious appreciation. <p>I enjoy speaking with people, and I am grateful for my ability to walk up and happily and confidently create a conversation with anybody. I am a confident, friendly person, and I genuinely enjoy talking with new people. I have always been self-confident and gregarious. I enjoy all my experiences with talking to new people.</p>
<p>Write it so it makes sense to you, and describes how you&#8217;d sincerely like to be.</p>
<p>When you make this declaration, be sure to be in a calm, sleepy state of mind. This is the best time to retrain your subconscious. Sit back in a comfy chair, and count down from ten to one. Breath deeply for each breath, and say, &#8220;I am&#8230;&#8221; on the inhale, and &#8220;relaxed,&#8221; on the exhale. You&#8217;ll find that every time you do this it gets easier and easier.</p>
<p>Another fantastic time to do this is just as you are falling asleep, and just as you wake up. It can help out to keep a little card next to your bed so to remind you to think of it first thing in the morning. Saying it both before sleep and upon awakening has a commanding transformative effect.</p>
<p>As soon as you are in that relaxed, sleepy state, begin your declaration. Say it personally, and with as much emotion as you can generate. Feelings of gratitude will help this come to pass much faster.</p>

<p>Face Touching</p>
